Track wildlife across three countries on game drives, walks, and canoe safaris. Exclusive camps and private concessions bring Africa to life.

This Three Countries safari through Botswana, Zambia & Zimbabwe is the ultimate African adventure – combining thrilling wildlife encounters, authentic experiences, and plenty of creature comforts along the way.

Imagine gliding silently through the Okavango’s clear waterways in Botswana as elephants wade across in front of your canoe. Or setting out on game drives in Zambia’s remote wilderness, camera at the ready, while lions stir in the early morning light. On foot in Zimbabwe, you’ll discover the fascinating “Small Five” with our expert guides – a reminder that the little things are just as captivating as the Big Five. Evenings end with a nightcap by the campfire, under a sky ablaze with stars.

Your safari camps in Botswana, Zambia & Zimbabwe are intimate, eco-conscious, and wonderfully comfortable. Think spacious luxury tents with proper beds, en-suite bathrooms, and thoughtful touches that make this camping in style. Built with sustainability in mind, these camps tread lightly on the land while offering you every comfort.

A portion of your safari fee directly supports community and conservation projects across all three countries – and you’ll see the impact of this support during your travels. From community visits to on-the-ground conservation initiatives, you’ll be part of something truly meaningful.

Best of all, you’ll be staying in private wildlife concessions in Botswana, Zambia & Zimbabwe, where exclusivity is guaranteed. Here, you can venture off-road, enjoy night drives and guided walks – experiences not permitted in National Parks. With strict limits on vehicle numbers, your wildlife encounters are unhurried and uncrowded. In fact, it’s likely you won’t see another vehicle at all – just you, your small group, and Africa’s wild beauty stretching out in every direction.

Independent arrival in Maun, Botswana, and transfer to your hotel for one night.

This morning you’ll join your flight into the Okavango Delta where you’ll spend 3 nights in a stunning new eco-camp. The camp is in the Khwai area, adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve. It offers the same wildlife experience as the Game Reserve with the added advantage of being a private concession which means the ability to do walking safaris and night drives.

The 7 elegant tents are perched on wooden decking along the banks of the Khwai River. Witness the incredible wildlife of Moremi Game Reserve, the oldest protected section of the Okavango Delta. Imagine spotting lions, leopards, elephants, and giraffes roaming free in their natural habitat, and seeing nocturnal wildlife on a night game drive.

Fly to Kasane (Botswana) and road transfer across the border to Livingstone in Zambia. Your beautiful lodge is on the banks of the Zambezi River in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. The lodge has 10 rooms, each with its own indoor and outdoor bathrooms, as well as a private plunge pool overlooking the river.

Activities here include a visit to the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, game drives in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, cultural village visits, fishing, and a sunset river cruise on our private boat. Here you’ll experience a once-in-a-lifetime adventure tracking rhinos on foot. The rhinos are under 24-hour protection by the rangers who will ensure you will be able to get close to the animals while maintaining the utmost respect for one of Africa’s most iconic species.

Road transfer across the border to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe where you will join your flight to Mana Pools National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Zambezi River. The name ‘Mana Pools’ (meaning ‘Four Pools’) originates from the park’s four permanent watering holes, which are a top attraction for wildlife.  As you relax in the comfort of your luxury tented suite or explore this mighty destination on foot, experience the wild intertwining with timeless luxury.

Your very comfortable home for the next 3 nights is built in the style of the vintage safari camps of a bygone era. The camp has 6 luxury tents on raised decking to take advantage of the views over the savannah. All tents have en-suite bathrooms and charging facilities, and the main area has a lounge and dining area overlooking the Zambezi River. Herds of elephants come to drink at the river every day, providing up-close encounters with these magnificent animals. Activities include guided walks led by qualified and passionate guides who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you, game drives, canoeing and fishing.

Fly from Mana to Harare International Airport to join your onward flight.

Fly back to Victoria Falls and visit the spectacular Falls from the Zimbabwe side. The biggest part of Victoria Falls is in Zimbabwe and the view is quite different to the Zambian side. Depending on the time of year the Falls in Zimbabwe will have much more water than the Zambian side. Enjoy a few relaxing days in this bustling small town, maybe take a helicopter flight over the Falls (highly recommended!), or do some last minute shopping. Ask about our preferred hotels.

I loved this trip, ABC certainly take care of you. I really enjoyed the uniqueness of each of the camps and the wildlife on offer. The teams at each of the camp were fabulous and the food was amazing too. Funny you mentioned the Warthogs as that was the first animal we saw near the river as we boarded the cruise to Old Drift Lodge. Loved Old Drift and yes we had elephants. We were so lucky with the wildlife, we got to see everything over the 12 days, the guides are amazing I am booked out for 2025 but will probably book again for 2026 As you can tell from Gab’s response she really enjoyed herself and this was way out of her comfort zone. This was both my first visit to Africa and my first safari experience. It was certainly an extraordinary 12 days and one that will stay with me for the rest of my life.  The entire experience from the destinations, the activities, the accomodations, the culture and of course the animals and subsequent animal encounters were truely amazing.  The safaris were all expertly tailored by the guides to meet our knowledge and experience. The accomodations and amenities were all wonderful and the staff of course so very friendly, attentive and very skilled at quickly building a rapport with all the guests. The quality of the meals and refreshments especially were way beyond my expectations and their chefs were absolutely superb. The animals, the environments, the wonderment of the Victoria Falls were all awe-inspiring – but I’m sure you’ve heard so many superlatives to describe these over the years. I’ve been busy culling my 1200 photos to 800 and need to now get a little more circumspect and downright ruthless to have a rich and meaningful memory of an extraordinary once-in-a-lifetime experience. My safaris attract active, adventurous travellers, mainly from Australia and New Zealand, and mostly in their 50s, 60s and beyond, who share a love of nature, wildlife, and authentic travel. You can expect fellow travellers who are friendly, down-to-earth, and excited to immerse themselves in Africa’s landscapes, wildlife and cultures. They prefer authentic experiences over flashy ones, enjoy a little comfort without the need for five-star glitz, and value supporting conservation and local communities while they travel. If you love nature, enjoy good company, and are curious about the world, you’ll feel right at home.

Guests come on their own, with a partner, or with a friend, and what unites everyone is a spirit of curiosity, a sense of adventure, and a desire to experience Africa in a more meaningful way than a “tick-the-boxes” tour. Many become lifelong friends – there’s something about sharing a lion sighting at dawn or a sundowner under the acacia trees that bonds people together!
