This iconic Botswana and Zimbabwe safari is an authentic African experience with all the trimmings – action, adventure, and luxury! You’ll explore Botswana’s Linyanti wetlands on foot or by mokoro and experience all that the African bush has to offer. At your wonderful camp on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River in Mana Pools in Zimbabwe you can enjoy canoeing, guided walks, and fishing as well as game drives. Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe has a healthy population of around 700 lions, and you’ll enjoy lots of lion encounters on your game drives. You can also watch elephants drinking at the waterhole right from the deck of your tent here! Experience game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles – perfect for wildlife viewing and photography, learn about the ‘small 5’ on walks with our qualified local guides, canoe through the waterways as elephants cross your path, and relax after dinner with a nightcap around the campfire  – your Botswana and Zimbabwe safari has it all.

With just 6 tents at each camp, you’ll never have to share wildlife encounters with hordes of other vehicles. A portion of the tour price on your Botswana and Zimbabwe safari supports local communities and conservation projects which you will have the opportunity to visit during your safari.

These expedition-style tented camps offer an authentic safari experience with every modern comfort. The spacious tents have en-suite bathrooms and very comfortable beds – this really is ‘camping in style’. Karen will personally escort this safari from Kasane, and she looks forward to sharing this authentic safari with you.*

This outstanding safari is limited to just 6 guests. Don’t miss your adventure of a lifetime!

Optional pre-or post tour: A few days at our superb lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River at Victoria Falls is the perfect way to start your safari. It’s located away from the bustle of town but close enough to visit the Falls (a guided tour is included) or do some last-minute shopping. Each spacious room has a private plunge pool and deck overlooking the river, and the meals, staff, and boat trips on the river are exceptional. It’s no wonder my guests rave about this stunning lodge and don’t want to leave!

Amazing experience above expectations. A chance to see wildlife in their own environment minus the truckloads of tourists. Staff extremely knowledgeable about the animals and their environment.
Impressed with the effort towards sustainability and green environment. Many concessions having Green awards. Need to highlight this more.
Accomodation at each concession was beautifully presented with comfortable beds.
Food and wine excellent, served by friendly staff.
    Highly recommend.

Having received newsletters for some years the decision was made to do the Botswana Safari 2016. The trip notes and itinerary indicated an interesting holiday. What we got was an amazing, not to be missed, experience. The organisation was seamless, the camps, food, knowledgeable Guides and the opportunity to see, close up, a huge range of wildlife and birds. It was a photographers paradise and such a great experience that Kenya 2017 Safari is booked.
